Dragons

 Dragons.

Dragons represent both good and evil.

They have been considered responsible for tidal waves,  floods, and harsh storms. Today, you can visit temples that were built to honour the dragons and protect the Chinese cultures.

There are many types of dragons such as
-Hydra.
-Great serpent.
-Drake.
              - wyvern.
Dragons can fly.

Sometimes they have horns and hair.

The name dragon comes from the Latin world ‘draconem’ which means ‘huge serpent.’

Eastern, and Chinese dragons tend to be smaller creatures with no wings, horns for ears, and are friends of humans.

Most dragons tend to have red eyes, and depending on the culture, they all have different powers.

Only a few centuries ago rumours of dragons seemed to be confirmed by sailors returning from Indonesia. They reported seeing a dragon.

A dragon can look like a snake with wings, or a lizard

Dragons can look like dinosaurs and other extinct animals. Because of that, it is easy to think that those animals were an example of a dragon.

Dragons are mythical creatures found in artwork, stories and legends.

A dragon's tooth was believed to be good luck.

In the Chinese and Japanese culture, dragons are a sign of good fortune.

It was believed that if you took a bath in dragons blood you could see the future.
Some say dragons are poisonous.

Some believe that dragons blow fire, other dragons fly and even some blow ice.
